The Society for Psychophysiological Research (SPR) presents:
Teaching Psychophysiology in the Pandemic: Online Resources
Steve Luck (The ERP Boot Camp)
Jane Couperus, Cindy Bukach, and Cathy Reed (PURSUE)
Friday, August 21, 2020
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM Eastern Time (U.S.)
Due to COVID-19, many instructors must now engage in socially-distanced teaching and research. For faculty, the challenge is made more difficult by relatively limited resources. We can meet this challenge through diversity of ideas and "out-of-the box" thinking.
Please join us for a discussion of online resources for teaching psychophysiology that are freely available, including videos, slides, tutorials, simulations, and sample datasets. Suggestions about a variety of materials will be provided, and attendees are invited to share others that have worked well for them.
The session is free to attend, but advanced registration is required at: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_JWWcJOgATdSYs0nYOLvxJg. Please register by 8:00 am ET, August 21st to receive the link to the webinar. Following the session, a recording will be available on the SPR website.

ERP Workshop Parts 1 & 2

Want to learn more about human electrophysiology? This webinar offers two videos (about 1.5 hours each) describing (1) background about the electroencephalogram (EEG) signal and the technology used to record it; and (2) how to design event-related potential (ERP) experiments and measure ERP signals.

Watch the videos at your own pace, submit questions and topics of interest, and then join Dr. Kara Federmeier and Dr. Brennan Payne for a Live Q & A Session on April 29 (two times — 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. CDT— are available to try to accommodate as many time zones as possible).

When: Live Sessions will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019

Time: You will choose which Live Q&A Session to attend--10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. CDT

SPR Members may register at no cost.
Be sure to log-in to receive members-only pricing.
Non-member fee is $200 USD.
Group rate fee is $500 USD
for up to 15 attendees. Attendees will have three months of access to the webinar materials after the Live Q&A Session.

Steps: First, register through our website here. You will then receive an email with links to register for your choice of Live Q&A Session on GoToWebinar, two video links for you to watch at your own pace before the Live Q&A Session, and a Google Form to submit your questions and topics to address corresponding to your chosen Live Q&A Session.
