Experience

The Brigham Young University (BYU) Department of Psychology invites applicants of any academic rank to fill a full-time (continuing faculty status) professional-track faculty position to begin Winter Semester 2027. We specifically seek applicants with training in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience. This search is for a CFS-track professional faculty member, but it may be filled with a visitor.

Duties/Expectations

The primary responsibility for this position is teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and neuroscience. Well-qualified candidates will demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring, strong fit with the University’s mission and aims, and commitment to building a community of belonging in our department. Candidates should also be prepared to engage in citizenship responsibilities in the department, college, and university.
