Greetings from SPR:

Members of the Society for Psychophysiological Research are invited to submit nominations for the offices of President-Elect, Secretary-Elect and two members of the Board of Directors. We encourage all members to participate in the nominations process to help ensure that everyone can play a role in shaping the future of SPR and its governance. SPR encourages self-nominations and nominations of individuals from historically underrepresented groups in psychophysiology.

Per our bylaws, at least three SPR members must be selected to run for each open position.

President-Elect: The person who is elected will serve as President-Elect in 2026–2027, President in 2027 – 2028, and Past-President in 2028 – 2029.
For Secretary-Elect: The person who is elected will serve as Secretary-Elect in 2026-2027 and as Secretary in 2027-2030.
Members of the Board of Directors: The two individuals who are elected will serve three-year terms beginning in Fall 2026 (2026 – 2029)

Nominations must be received by March 16, 2026. To submit nominations, please use the nomination form below. Self-nominations are welcome!

After nominations are received, the SPR Secretary and/or the Nominations Committee (Monica Fabiani, Rebecca Silton, Greg Miller, Sander Niewenhaus, Erin Hazlett) will reach out to each nominated individual and confirm that they are interested in running and confirm the position for which they would like to run. Each nominee who wishes to move forward with their candidacy will be asked to submit additional information that will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee as they select individuals to run for each position.
